Treated bamboo poles are our main product, we have three treatment facilities in Yogyakarta and Central Java area with production capacity up to 4000 bamboo poles per month. Available treated bamboo pole species are: Bamboo Apus (Gigantochloa apus), Black Bamboo (Gigantochloa atroviolacea) and Giant Bamboo (Dendrocalamus asper). Also available tiger bamboo (bambusa maculata) and Cendani (Phyllostachys aurea) by request. We give replacement guaranty for treated pole up to five years from powder post beetle attack.
Bamboo, if harvested correctly is a renewable resource and sustainable building material. Properly treated bamboo provides strong, flexible and durable building material able to last over 100 years and is a suitable replacement for scarce timber resources.
There are around 1,2 50 bamboo species recognized in the world, 140 of which are found in Indonesia. Although many of these bamboos are exellent for use in construction, furniture and handicrafts, bamboo is still perceived as a poor-man's timber, largely due to its susceptible to insect attack from termites to powder-post beetles.
